Experience Points (XP) are gained as a reward for certain actions. When enough XP is gained, your character gains a new level.

Wakfu has a number of different types of XP, and levels, for different activities.

Gaining XP[]

An Elemental Spell gains Spell Experience Points when it is used in combat.
Character XP is gained by winning combat.
Profession XP is gained by performing actions which are part of that profession.
