Leather Dealer is a crafting profession which makes boots, belts, and bags.
Their recipes use skins, furs, stems, and leaves collected by the trapper and herbalist professions.

You can learn Leather Dealer from any Clan Member as long as your nation is allied with the nation the Clan Member is in. The Clan member can also give back their profession's tool in case you dropped it.

Tanning the Right Hide
First of all, as a Leather Dealer you will be doing a crafting profession. Previously this profession required a permit and you were unable to use gathering professions; however that is no longer the case due to an update.
The Leather Dealer makes boots, belts and bags. He will need to get skins, furs, stems and leaves from the Trappers and Herbalists.
Once he's gathered all these ingredients, he has to go to the nearest Tannery to make his creations using the machines available.
The Leather Dealer can also carry out transformation actions: refining animal skins into leather.

Leather Dealers need to use a Leather Shop to craft their bags, belts and boots.
