Guards are in duty of protecting the citizens by tracking down criminals. While doing this, guards get extra citizenship for fighting outlaws.
Becoming a Guard[]
Upon reaching level 38, the player will be given the quest Joining the Ranks. This quest requires the player to speak with the Sargeant in their nation's Garrison.
When the quest is completed, the player will be given two more quests, Keep in Step and Riktus for a Day, which can be completed to join either the Guards or the Riktus Clan respectively. These quests simply involve speaking to the Sergeant to join the Guards or the Riktus prisoner to join the Riktus Clan.
PvP can then be toggled on and off using the Passport.
