Demigods are the offspring of gods and other beings, such as mortals or even dragons.
A Demigod inherits some of his or her divine parent's power, including semi-immortality that allows them to potentially live forever but remain susceptible to death.
Despite being the children of the gods, Demigods don't appear to have any favor with their divine parents, which has left many of them bitter towards their godly parents, feeling ignored or abandoned.
A Demigod can even be born of a god who has undergone reincarnation as a mortal, such as the case with Sir Percedal of Sadlygrove (who is a mortal reincarnation of the Iop God) and his children Elely, Flopin, and their baby brother.
The Demigods are the most powerful race of all only below their parents the original Gods, even the Eliotrope fear and respect them since not even they who share attributes such as eternal life or magic can rival the powers of the demigods.

Powers and abilities[]
All demigods are immortal in the sense that they will never die from age and disease, but can still be killed by powerful weapons or by other demigods. They all inherit powers from their divine and mortal parents, as Lady Echo inherited the magical healing abilities of her mother a Goddess and the appearance and wings of her father a dragon.
They possess great strength, agility, and physical or magical resistance superior to that of any other race in the world and can easily defeat an opponent.
The only known weakness is their arrogance since they believe that being children and descendants of gods they believe they can do whatever they want and above all that is their greatest weakness.
