Az is a Tofu, specially created by Grougaloragran as a companion for Yugo. Ever since Az hatched from his egg the Tofu accompanies his friend in all his adventures.

When Grougaloragran first arrived to deliver Yugo to Alibert, he picked Az out of his nest and cast a spell, so that Az would be a messenger.

He is seen very briefly in the first OVA feeding his chicks and eating Ruel's food with Junior.

Az is a small, round, bird-like creature with yellow feathers.
Powers/Abilities[]
- Messenger - ever since it was hatched from it's egg for Yugo. Az gained an ability to carry on messages in a form of blue feather on his tail end. Once the feather is pulled out it will reveal its full content.
